2 busted with 'Superman' bags of PCP-soaked marijuana police

Two Jersey City men were arrested this week with nearly 50 bags of PCP-soaked marijuana marked “Superman.”

Kenyata Farley, 34, of Union Street, and Dario Bravo, 36, of Wegman Parkway, were arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Tuesday after police smelled the strong odor of PCP emanating from the vehicle, the criminal complaint says.

They are charged with possession of the 49 bags of suspected PCP-soaked marijuana, possession with intent to distribute, possession with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of School 14, located at 153 Union St., and possession with intent to distribute within 500 feet of public property, the complaint says.

Both men made their first appearance on the charges Wednesday in Criminal Justice Reform Court in Jersey City via video link from Hudson County jail in Kearny. At the hearing, the state moved to detain both men through their prosecution. A detention hearing is set for Monday before Hudson County Superior Court Judge Paul DePascale.

Court officials said Farley is already on probation.
