A Cadiz man was arrested Wednesday by the Pennyrile Regional Narcotics Task Force after allegedly delivering six pounds of marijuana to a Wharton Road residence. 40-year old Maurice Bacon was charged with Trafficking in Marijuana over six pounds after Task Force agents conducted a buy bust at an undisclosed location.
Task Force Director David Thompson said Bacon was arrested after delivering six pounds of suspected marijuana to the residence. He said Bacon was also found in possession of an additional pound of marijuana in the vehicle he was driving.
Bacon was released from jail on a $5,000 surety bond.
