Police confiscate marijuana plants, drug paraphernalia in connection to hit-and-run
HURON COUNTY, Mich.

The Huron County Sheriff’s Office searched a residence in Huron County’s Oliver Township and vehicle of the 21-year-old man who they say fled the scene of an accident that killed one woman and injured another Friday morning, according to a news release.

Police say the man had been at that residence prior to the accident.

They found and confiscated 12 marijuana plants, drug paraphernalia and a cell phone, according to a news release.

Police say they’ll be discussing the find with the Huron County Prosecutor’s Office.
