Ottawa Police say they have seized drugs and cash and charged two people after raiding another marijuana dispensary in the capital.
They say they conducted the raid on Oct. 13, 2017 at the CannaGreen dispensary on Armstrong St. near Parkdale, in the Hintonburg area.
Police say they seized marijuana buds and edibles, as well as THC concentrate, also known as “shatter”.
A 45-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman were arrested and charged a number of offenses, including possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime.
Police say their investigation into illegal dispensaries is ongoing, and want to stress that there is “no gray area when it comes to illegal storefront marijuana dispensaries.”
This particular dispensary was also robbed twice in September, and has only been open since September first.
