MINNESOTA—It could be a breakthrough for some people suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
The Minnesota Department of Health will now allow people with PTSD to be a part of its medical marijuana program. Certified PTSD victims will be eligible for the program, starting August First. A local Vietnam vet says he wishes he had this program when he came home from serving.

“You’re tense all the time because of being in the situation that you were in and medical marijuana would ease that tension so you become more relaxed and not worry about things,” said Terry Buraas, Vietnam Veteran.

You must be a Minnesota resident to be eligible for the program and have a certifiable diagnosis of PTSD.
