OGDEN, N.Y. (WROC-TV) – Ogden Police have arrested a man while investigating a marijuana grow operation on Whittier Road Thursday.
According to police, John Gilly, 64, of Ogden, was arrested after police executed a search warrant at the location on Whittier Road.
Police say they found and seized numerous marijuana plants, growing equipment and a large quantity of processed marijuana.
Officers also located three unregistered assult-style rifles and prohibited high-capacity magazines.
Gilly has been charged with:
- Unlicensed Growing of Cannabis,
- Three counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree,
- Five counts of Possession of a Large Capacity Magazine, and
- Three counts of Criminal Possession of a Firearm.
