LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. (WPTA21) -Police arrested two people Wednesday afternoon after they noticed the smell of marijuana in a nearby residence while investigating a crash.
The LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department said deputies were investigating a crash in the 100 block of Main Street in Wolcottville when they noticed the smell. After obtaining a search warrant, deputies entered the residence and discovered marijuana, meth and illegal drug paraphernalia inside the apartment.
Deputies arrested the occupants of the apartment, Terry and Cindy Wicker. Both were booked in the LaGrange County Jail on preliminary charges of possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, paraphernalia, and maintaining a common nuisance.
