Traffic Stop Leads To Marijuana Being Seized By DPS Trooper.

117 pounds of marijuana were seized Friday after a traffic stop in Carson County. Just Before 6 pm Friday night, a trooper stopped a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado that was traveling east on I-40 for a traffic violation. During the stop, the trooper discovered multiple vacuumed-sealed packages of marijuana inside the auxiliary diesel tank. 38-year-old Veronica Chavez-Lovya and 42-year-old Federico Caracoza both of Oklahoma City were arrested and booked into the Carson County Jail on felony possession of marijuana charges. The drugs were being transported from Downey, California to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
