Two renegade marijuana operations shut down

EASTERN HUMBOLDT – Officials close down several renegade trespass marijuana operations in Eastern Humboldt.

This past Monday and Tuesday, the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Drug Enforcement Unit along with camp personnel conducted a two day operation near Lacks Creek Drainage in Hoopa and by Red Cap Creek Drainage near Orleans.

Multiple marijuana operations were observed on private timber land and areas of Six Rivers National Forest. Over 8,000 plants were found and destroyed. No suspects were located.

The investigations are ongoing.
