An Australian woman recently called the police to report her drug dealer after he made an “unacceptable” increase in marijuana prices.
This story unsurprisingly became an internet hit since this kind of calls happens rarely.
It was reported by a Facebook post from the Northern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Services and it even managed to top the list of ‘unusual’ calls.
The post that narrates the strange incident has been shared more than 13,000 times.
The authorities said that, “completely offended, the woman demanded that police investigate this ‘outrageous’ price hike.” However, she hung up after she was asked for more details regarding the issue.
The police post also came with a little satire, stating, “If you know a drug dealer who is ripping you off, give us a call, we’d love to help.”
This police post provoked a lot of reactions, with many appreciating the lighter side of the “boys in blue.”
